Water Fitness Classes

Do you want to get your exercise at the start of the day before your work begins?  Come join us for an accelerated  conditioning class in our pools.  Our deep or shallow water classes are designed for the progressive woman or man to address cardio, strength and endurance exercise needs.  Our experienced AEA certified instructors are waiting to help you begin your day!

Water fitness classes are a great and fun way to get yourself moving and increase your fitness ability and level. They are open for all ages and abilities and are drop-in classes allowing you to come when you desire. Simply pay your entrance fee to come to the class or if you have an annual membership it is included in your membership fee.

The format of each class is a gradual warm-up, an aerobic workout for cardiovascular fitness, a cool down period, followed by stretching and toning exercises.

~ Push-it – to complete fitnessDesigned for all ages and every fitness level who want to work hard and stay fit.  The class focuses on the four components of exercise fitness – cardio, strength, endurance, and  flexibility!

~ Power Aquatics – Provides a rigorous work out for those who want to keep conditioned.  Designed to focus on cardio and strength training.

~ Work Hard Play Hard – Designed for all ages who want accelerated risk-free conditioning at the beginning or end of the day.

~ Boot Camp – This class is a higher intensity class ready to get you into shape and constantly working hard!

~ Interval Training – One of the best ways to exercise and put some change into your routine. Higher intensity to lower and back again to provide a complete workout!

~Cardio Rush – Enter this class for a rush of cardio enjoyment. Designed for beginner through advanced levels of fitness levels and abilities. Class focuses on cardio training for a healthier, happier day!

~Fit@5 – Jump start your morning off in Fit@ 5 where you can feel the fitness the rest of the day! Come try this class for some excellent cross-training to your fitness routine. Feel the power that using water resistance can provide! Class includes warm-up, cardio training as well as muscle strengthening and stretching.

~ Challenge Class – Designed to bring participants fitness to the Next Level without injury byusing the exercise components of cardio, strengthening and conditioning of the major muscle groups, body composition, agility and flexibility. 

~ Aqua Kickbox – Turn up the fun in your workout with a round-house kick and a punch! Enjoy the benefits of cardio and strengthening with the kickboxing style.

~ Core-Flex – Extra attention to core training and flexibility is found here! Enhance your body’s core strength, an essential and central part of your body. Increase your flexibility and range of motion as you stretch in the water environment with ease.

~ Pool-oga-lates – This class is a combination of yoga and pilates in the pool. It focuses on slow and relaxing motions as well as enforces balance and posture.

~Fun Fitness –Come have some fun at the end of the day while working on your cardiovascular health, muscle strength and flexibility.

~Aqua Zumba – Spice up your dance moves and feel the rhythm of ZUMBA in the water! Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the Aqua Zumba class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
