Splashball – Water Polo Instruction

Splashball is designed to introduce the sport of water polo to children 5-9 years old.  The intent is to provide basic skills and understanding of the sport in a recreational format.  Splashball harnesses all the fun, dynamic aspects of the game in a safe, easy to learn aquatic experience that will motivate kids to swim and stay fit.

Pricing: Member – $35  Non-member – $37

Days & Time: Saturdays at 9:00 am – 12:00 noon

Session 1: January 7 – February 4

Session 2: February 11 – March 10

Session 3: March 17 – April 21 (no lesson on 3/31 due to egg dive)

Session 4: April 28 – May 26

Club Water Polo – South Davis Terrapins

What do you get when you combine the athleticism of soccer, the strategic thinking of chess, and agressiveness of judo? You get Water Polo! If you enjoy team sports and swimming this a perfect fit for you. Our club team competes against 24 other High School aged teams across Utah. Join our fastest growing sport at the SDRC and be a part of a winning team. Previous experience is not required – beginners welcome.

Club Fee: $175* (or $60/month)
Ages: 14 – 18

Season: February 13th – May 26th

* there may be additional cost for travel, tournaments, team apparel & suits.

Novice Water Polo – South Davis Terrapins

The novice water polo team is for ages 10-14 who want to develop their swimming and learn basic water polo skills before joining our competitive team. Players who advance quickly throughout the season will be invited to join our JV club team. Novices will scrimmage with other age group teams from around the Salt Lake Valley. Season runs from Feb. 27 – April 27th.

Price: $80/ Member   $95 / non member
